I am home in the States. Last time I was here was during the Tour of Georgia. It feels good ... I love seeing all my friends and family. I am going to be here for only three weeks, so my time here is special. I am getting ready for my up coming racing season. I have a lot of big races, so coming into to the season fresh is crucial.

If I do not crash and break something, next year I am starting up with Tour de Langkawi. Then the [Tour du] Haut Var, Vuelta Comunidad Valenciana, Paris-Nice, Milano-Sanremo, Critérium International, Circuit de la Sarthe, Amstel Gold Race, Liège-Bastogne-Liège and The Giro d'Italia ...

I am excited. I have never done this many big races so it will be interesting to see how I react. I hope to do well next year. The Giro will be my first Grand Tour, the team has not given me any big objectives than to learn and improve. But Me, I always set my goals high and hope to pull out a few surprises for 2006.

As of now racing is in the back of my head. Other than training hard I am just enjoying my time at home.

Have a wonderful holiday season,
Saul
