Road To Recovery

Saul Raisin Tour of Georgia

It has been almost two weeks since my crash at the 4 jour de Dunkirk, and I have came a long way. After the crash the first 4 of the 14 days I was stuck in a bed and for another five I could barley walk. I am not as far along as I would like to be today, but with a broken hip, ribs, and collarbone you cannot complain. Today I rode the trainer for one hour. It was only one hour, but It felt good to get some exercise. I am trying to stay focused on cycling but it has been hard since I am injured. I went out last night with some friends to the Cannes film festival. It was a lot of fun and I had a great time... One BIG party before I get back down to business. WAIT, that is a lie...I am going to the Formula 1 in Monaco this Saturday. After the race I am going to try to start training seriously on the trainer, and I hope I can get back on the road by next week. It is slow road to recovery, but I am going to make the most of it.

Until I come back stronger,
Saul Raisin

Tom Danielson

Tom Danielson Interview, Before the Giro d'Italia, "I've never seen anything like that before. Even the biggest races I've done in Europe aren't even close. It was incredible. The size. So many people. And so many enthusiastic people."
