Hi BiciRace,

Here we are in Belgium for my second Giro d'Italia. We arrived here last Wednesday after having a look at the route of the team time trial from Piacenza to Cremona. It's a completely flat parcours and it will be fast if without headwind. After that we covered another 70 kilometers together with the whole Giro team, and then in evening we flew to Charleroi (Belgium).

On Thursday we had an easy ride in the sunny morning, in which we visited the coal mine site of Marcinelle; then in the afternoon we went to Liège for the team presentation. The team is very good. My roommate is Aaron Olson, which seems to be the happiest person in the world being here at the Giro.

Simoni is very motivated and he's really quiet and confident. All the team will ride for him and I feel honored to be part of this squadra.

Ciao,
Marco
