Hi BiciRace,
Yes, I am back in Italy. Now I am good even if coming back is hard in the first couple of days.
The Tour of Georgia has been a beautiful experience and I achieved a good overall result, I felt better than last year even if in the end I finished lower than in 2005. I faked too much in Brasstown Bald and finally I burned all my energy arriving empty with three kilometers to go. [Marco rode well to finish eighth overall.] The experience has been good, and also having Aaron Olson as a roommate has been really funny.
Anyway, now I have to refocus on Giro d'Italia.
Today [26 April] has been my first whole day at home. After a training ride of three hours, that helps my biological clock to re-set, I have been very busy here at my home where I am completing a fence around the house (it is currently lacking one side). So I have to follow the work and sometimes lend a hand when there are easier things to do.
In Georgia, Matteo and I had good reactions about the training camp [See: Pro Camps], even if, there wasn't the crowd like last year at the start of the stages.
Now some more days of relax and time with family before the long Giro adventure.
Bye
Marco
