Hi BiciRace.com,
Sanremo was better than last year even if I am not the kind of rider who likes to fight for position, and so I took the Cipressa in back of the peloton and lost any chance to be at the front. But the endurance of the seven-hour race will help me in the Giro d'Italia.
I am now at the Coppi e Bartali. Today, after a tremendous fist half-stage in the rain, we did a team time trial. I really liked this effort, and even Simoni told me I am too fast. It has been a good test for the Giro but we will improve more.
