Crash On Track But Worlds Ahead

Hi BiciRace,

I am doing OK, considering the bad crash that I had recently. I still have some pain in my face and in my right knee. Yesterday I rode for 3 hrs and seemed ok after the initial impasse. [Marco crashed on the track while racing the individual pursuit at the Italian nationals. Without the crash he looked certain to win.]

I will skip the Tour of Poland and train at home with my TT bike. I think Scott is making a new bike for the World Championships and I hope to try it soon. I am still disappointed with what happened on the track, because up until the crash, everything seemed to be going well. I think that the double training days were paying off, but I have been very unlucky. Because of the crash I am losing some training days for the TT, but I hope to recover soon with high quality work-outs. I am still confident that I can ride a good TT at worlds even without the Pologne race.

ciao,
Marco
