Hi!
Today the UCI had its blood control, and so I woke up at 7:45.
After breakfast I was really excited because I wanted to ride my bike home (I live 25 km far from here). But I had to wait until the mechanics opened the truck at 10:00. Then on the way home I punctured and lost another 15'.
I finally reached my home, kissed my wife and my mother. My bronchitis has been immediately better. I spent 2 hrs at home and had lunch. It was a good boost for the morale.
I came back to hotel with a stronger and fresher mind, ready for the last part of this Giro. It's been a good Giro, but still not really super yet. Starting tomorrow, if I am healthy with my lungs, I badly want to ride a super stage. From Varazze until the Time trial. I feel like I can fly and I haven't been able to show my potential here so far. I also hope that Garate will improve another couple of steps in his GC.
bye, Marco
