Today was a very hot and long race because of the head wind. I found myself in front with more than 50km to go with a LPR rider, and I decided to pull a bit until I remained alone. Finally I was caught with 25km to go. I probably made a mistake, looking at the effort I have done to stay with the first 50 riders in the nervous final circuit. At least I gained the "most aggressive rider" Jersey!
And it has been a good training for TT! Anyway it's always a good feeling being in the front with all the eyes on you!
Tomorrow I will stay in the pack, trying to recover the energies I spent today. Tomorrow, no update after the stage, as we will arrive late at the hotel, due to the long transfer, in fact the race will start only at 1.30 p.m. local time
