It's still raining in Italy, and I am in my warm house to rest and do some stretching & yoga. Today I finished my planned training. I did almost the whole scheduled work-out, even in the rain. Now I feel tired, but it's normal after a good quality training. I trained several days in the rain, especially the last 4 days. It has been quite cold, less than 10°C. I reduced the quantity and emphasized the quality, and I am sure I have done a good job, even if I trained most of the time alone. It helped me to find the right inspiration and the right feelings. Now I will recover and wait for the compensation and fitness to come. And of course the increase of mental focalization!

Tomorrow I will go to Florence to see the time-trial stage of the upcoming Giro and the last stage that finishes in that area. We will be followed by Algeri, with Zaugg, Mori and Garate. Then on Thursday I will go to Piemonte to see some climbs of the last stages. I do not know if we're going to ride them, because it might be bad weather. Anyway I do not need to train more from here to Georgia! I will leave for the USA next Sunday morning. I am looking forward to that new experience! stay tuned.

Ciao!
Marco

P.s. Special thoughs for my friend Philippe from Belgium. His father passed away. Philippe be strong and I will be stronger. God bless you
