Marco writes after a long Milano-Sanremo

Yesterday I've finished Milano-Sanremo. It was a beautiful experience. A really long day. Wake up at 6.30, big breakfast, transfer to center of Milan, great crowd and you find yourself on the way to Sanremo! I tried to enter in a breakaway, many attacks, but there were lot of head wind. So it was better in the end to stay in the peloton. I worked for Ventoso and Zaballa. When we reached Imperia there was a crash that split the peloton in two and I was in the second half. So I rode it until the finish and arrived in Sanremo 10 minutes after super fast Petacchi. The long day ended with the trip home and I arrived very tired in my bed for a long sleep, but I am satisfied to have rode a great race!
Now my next race is Critérium International (26-27 March). This week I will check the Saunier Duval Scott TT bike.
