Matteo says: Tafi will be at Georgia Tour. He will finish his career there.

Matteo says: Georgia, then Giro d'Italia, then Philly.

Matteo says: Yes, I'm really excited for the upcoming Giro. It's my fist experience in a big tour as a Team Director. I am also the youngest team director in a Pro Tour team.
BiciRace.com says: Are there multiple directors for the team?
Matteo says: Yes. There are 2 of us, me and my father Pietro.

Matteo says: Yes. Driving in the 2nd team car. Following for escapes and "ritardatari"

Matteo says: What is GC?

Matteo says: Garate, but we expect good results in the second part of the Giro from Zaugg.
BiciRace.com says: Ok, nice! Garate. And what will be Marco Pinotti's role?
Matteo says: Pinotti will be the "Outsider". Catching escapes everyday.

Matteo says: And looking for good results in time trial stages.
BiciRace.com says: Yes, he is a strong Time Trialist!
Matteo says: Ventoso and Ravaioli will be the riders for sprint, even if we recognize that It'd be hard to beat Ale-Jet.
BiciRace.com says: Ventoso won last year in Philly. He is super-fast.
Matteo says: Yes, this year he started more relaxed, to be in good form for the Giro.
BiciRace.com says: And Garate is always near the top when the Giro hits the passes.
Matteo says: Yep, hopefully Garate can do a good Giro, after 2 years of not so good seasons.
BiciRace.com says: Are stages or GC more important?
BiciRace.com says: The "Classifica finale"??
Matteo says: Both of them, because GC makes the team's GC too, so it's good to place more than 1 rider in the top 25 leaders.
BiciRace.com says: I see.
Matteo says: But we have 2 objectives as a team: 1) 1 stage, and 2) best place for Garate in GC.
BiciRace.com says: Has Garate been on any scouting trips to preview the stages (le tappe)?
Matteo says: Next Wednesday and Thursday we will go.
BiciRace.com says: Will you escort him?
Matteo says: Yes. We will test the time trial in Lamporecchio, and climb in Turin.
