The Belgian took glory in the sprint ahead of some fast guns. Erik Zabel (Milram) and Robert Hunter (Phonak) had to lay down their arms to the sprint force that is Tom Boonen.
Boonen can thank the handy work of his Quick-Step team, they did some stellar lead-out work. The crew will be back in action on Sunday for the start of the Tour of Qatar.
