Aaron Olson and Saunier Duval-Prodir Updates

Stage Profile
Today at the breakfast table, Pietro Algeri, Team DS, was explaining to the boys the tactics for the day. Simoni would join in, expressing his concerns, and all the while Aaron Olson was listening closely. Olson has a grip on Italian (including Algeri's Bergamasco dialect) and a comfortable relationship with his peers. The American added in his thoughts when needed and asked questions about the road conditions.
Olson spends a lot of his time chatting with Piotr Mazur and Marco Pinotti, but he clearly has no problems conversing with the two-time Giro d'Italia champion. Gibo is warm and welcoming, even to BiciRace.com, which is helpful for a non-Euro rider finding his way in a ProTour team.
We briefly heard Algeri explain how today would be a little bit more relaxed and tomorrow should be the tougher day. He told his squadra that they should pay attention to the fast descents after the first GPM, which involves a lot of tunnels.
