The breakaway with Fabian Wegmann went and stayed away ... almost and got reeled in with a few K to go. Then the sprint trains took over and set it up for the big boys to shoot it out.
Pretty standard opening week formula today in stage 7.
I don't want to waste any energy unnecessarily. I need to rest up for stage 8 tomorrow! All the big guns are saying the race won't be decided tomorrow, and that maybe true. But, the parcours definitely lends itself to it being quite a barn-burner! I'm expecting Alexandre Vinokourov to set the race alight with an attack in the last 15K or so.
