EICMA - Rewel Titanium

Italian Titanium

Sometimes it is the unusual that captures your attention. While at EICMA (Milano bike show) we were amazed at all the carbon frames on offer, tons and tons of carbon everywhere you looked. But it was when we were walking past the Rewel booth we came across the 'old' exotic material: Titanium.

BiciRace.com was immediately greeted by Leo Santa, the man behind Rewel titanium frames. He explained how his Italian company prides itself on custom titanium frames. Rewel wants to ensure that the rider who purchases one of their beautiful frames has the size that they need, down to the millimeter.

Rewel are experts in the process of making a nice titanium frame. We were impressed at the smooth welds near the seat stays and bottom bracket. They do offer a little carbon if you can't live without it: one of their frames on offer is a titanium frame with carbon seat and chain stays.
