The Pinarello booth at EICMA had a lot to offer for BiciRace.com. Many fans of the famous Treviso frame manufacturer were found eyeing their dream bikes. Their range of machines runs from aluminum to carbon, with a little magnesium thrown in.
When Pinarello introduced the F4:13 last year it was with great excitement. It was their first full-fledged carbon road bike offering. The result was what the tifosi would expect from Pinarello: classic, cool and innovative. The angles and main frame stay traditional, but are all manufactured in carbon. Up front is the proven Onda fork ... Onda means "wave" in Italian and you can see why they picked the name. Down at the bottom is the oversized M.O.st bottom bracket.
Like BiciRace.com you might see some similarities in the Dogma and F4:13. Both frames used the same trusted rear triangle and Onda fork. It is a design that Pinarello has perfected and uses with confidence. But the main triangle on the Dogma is completely different, it is made in oversized magnesium AK61 tubes. The tubing (by Dedacciai) provides different characteristics to Aluminum or Carbon, allowing for a comfortable and relaxed ride.
