Saunier Duval-Prodir Signs David Millar

After months of speculation the Spanish/Swiss squadra, Saunier Duval-Prodir, have officially announces their support to David Millar. Earlier today the squadra revealed that the British rider has signed a multi-year contract through the end of the 2007 season. Millar (28) will officially begin his contract in June 2006.
Saunier Duval-Prodir is taking a chance in giving Millar a second try in the world of professional cycling after his 2004 EPO related problems. The Brit is currently serving a suspension that ends in June, which would allow him to return in the Tour de France, where he once wore the Maillot Jaune. Millar's fast TT engine is a huge coup for the yellow squadra given the number of TT kilometers in the 2006 Tour.
Millar will link up with his old Italian Cofidis teammate, Guido Trentin (29). The rider from Como inked a deal with Saunier last month. BiciRace.com wishes Millar and Saunier Duval-Prodir a successful 2006 season.
